Dear fellow educator,

CWF is sending a delegation to the United Nation’s Conference on Climate Change and inviting you to join us online.

Our delegation includes education professionals that want to cover your topics of interest at COP16, which will be held in Cancún, Mexico from Nov. 29 to Dec.10. Our focus is that Education Can Change the Climate.

Use our new microsite CanChange.ca as your education tool.  Take our survey to select and add topics you want covered for classroom discussion or lessons.  Then make this conference come alive for your class by using our videos and summaries. 

All educators who submit completed questionnaires will be eligible for a draw for a one-year FREE classroom subscription for CWF’s WILD or Canadian Wildlife magazine. CWF will be awarding five free subscriptions to five lucky classrooms.

CWF’s webisodes from last year’s COP15 conference in Copenhagen will be available as free downloads for background study.

The microsite will grow as the COP16 climate change conference evolves, so users can check in regularly to see new items. There will even be a moderated blackboard for users to upload comments.
