Explore Nunavut with CWF Learning Institute Next Summer The CWF Learning Institute will host a summer course in Nunavut next July in 2011. The non-credit registration fee is $1,500. The course is open to educators. While the exact dates have not been determined, the average length of a CWF summer course is 7 days. The goal is to pair northern teachers with southern teachers to facilitate learning. Sign up to be alerted about this amazing Arctic experience. .. . |

Education Can Change the Climate: Thanks to all the educators who completed our COP16 survey. We had an amazing response! We hope you enjoyed our online journal about the educational sessions at the climate conference. We also created videos about the water issues and conservation centres in this area. Continue to make our microsite CanChange.ca come alive by showing webisodes and delegate interviews in your classrooms! .. . |

Support Conservation Education for Youth: Do your last minute holiday shopping online at CWF and support a good cause. Buy limited edition prints of our biodiversity artwork by Wallace Edwards. Proceeds raised from the sale of each print will be used to support our education programs for youth in partnership with the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation. Order Get to Know Calendars for Fundraising Initiatives: CWF Education is offering its education supporters the opportunity to purchase 2011 Bateman calendars at half price. This is to enable schools to purchase in bulk and use the calendars as a fundraiser by selling them at full price to raise money for projects. In addition, CWF is covering the shipping costs for schools and organizations that wish to be part of this fundraiser. This is a great opportunity to Get to Know wildlife and raise funds for educational projects. The calendar retails at $12.95 but our education supporters can order copies for $6. .. . |
