Dear Educator,
We at CWF are excited to invite educators from across Canada to apply to attend the 2012 Summer Institute — an amazing Arctic experience in Nunavut! From July 20 to July 29 (inclusive of travel dates), ten educators will get the chance to join staff from the Canadian Wildlife Federation and Parks Canada for an unparalleled professional development course. Come with us to meet experts on Northern ecology and climate change, speak with traditional and non-traditional artists, enjoy a throat singing session and much more! The 2012 Summer Institute is open to formal and non-formal educators for a non-credit registration fee of $1,500, plus applicable taxes. This will cover conservation field trips, most meals, and shared accommodations. Participants will stay in 3-bedroom units or be billeted. While participants are required to pay for and book their own transportation to and from Iqaluit at the beginning and the end of the course, CWF has negotiated special fares from First Air, which services Iqaluit and is a member of the Star Alliance network. Let’s get excited about the North! Spaces are limited, so apply now. Sincerely,
